Before you call
What to have ready
You don't need to know what's wrong — that's our job. But having a few details ready makes the call faster and gets you a more accurate ballpark price before we even head out.
- The year, make, and model of the vehicle — this tells us the engine, the parts, and the labor time before we even arrive.
- What the car is doing, in your own words — the sound it makes, when it happens, whether it's worse cold or hot, anything you've noticed.
- Where the car is parked — an address, a lot name, or the nearest cross street if you're on the roadside.
- Whether you'll be there or leaving the keys with someone — a neighbor, a front desk, or a lockbox all work.
Don't worry about getting the terminology right. "It makes a grinding noise when I stop" is more useful to us than a guess at which part is bad. Tell us what you see, hear, and feel — we'll figure out the rest when we get there.
Call or form?
When to call and when to send the form
Call right now if
- You're stranded on the roadside.
- The car won't start and you need it today.
- A warning light is flashing.
- You want the fastest possible response.
Use the form if
- It's a scheduled job, not an emergency.
- You're at work and can't take a call.
- You want a written quote to think over.
- It's late and you'd rather not wake anyone.
Either way, you'll hear back. The form goes to the same person the phone does, and we return every quote request — usually with a call or a text, because that's still the fastest way to nail down the details of your car.
On the call
What we can sort out before we even head out
A lot of calls get resolved before a truck ever moves. When you call, you're talking to someone who can tell you whether the problem is a mobile job or one that genuinely needs a shop, give you a real ballpark on cost, and set a time — all in the first few minutes. Here's what that conversation usually covers.
- Whether it's a job we can do on site. Brakes, batteries, alternators, starters, belts, diagnostics, oil changes, and most roadside calls are all driveway or parking-lot jobs. If it needs a lift, an alignment rack, or tire mounting, we tell you straight and save you the trip fee.
- A rough price range based on the year, make, and model. We can't give an exact number until we see the car, but we can tell you whether you're looking at a fifty-dollar part or a five-hundred one — before anyone commits to anything.
- How urgent it is. A flashing check engine light, a brake pedal that sinks to the floor, or a temperature gauge in the red means stop driving. A steady light or a squeal that comes and goes is different. We'll tell you which one you have.
- An honest ETA. Based on where you are, what traffic looks like, and what we're already handling — a real number, not a vague window. For roadside calls in our core area we aim for under an hour.
None of that costs anything. The phone call is free, the advice is free, and if it turns out you don't need a mechanic at all — the noise was a rock in the brake shield, the battery just needed a charge — we'd rather tell you that than charge you for a visit you didn't need.
Where we go
Towns we serve and how fast we get there
We're based in West Warwick, and our core area covers the town and the communities right around it. Response time depends on distance and traffic, but here's how the coverage breaks down.
West Warwick
Our home base — Arctic, Phenix, Centerville, and Cowesett. Fastest response times, usually well under an hour for roadside calls. Covers Route 2, Route 113, and the residential streets off them.
Warwick & Cranston
Directly east and north of us, including Apponaug and the Route 2 corridor. Quick to reach via I-95 and Route 5. Same-day service for most calls.
Coventry & East Greenwich
West and south of West Warwick. A little farther out but still in our regular area. We run calls out here every week.
Surrounding towns
Scituate, North Kingstown, Johnston, and Providence — we take calls from these towns too, depending on the day and the drive. Call with your address and we'll tell you straight whether we can get there and how long it'll take.

After you call
What happens next
We talk it through
You tell us what the car is doing. We tell you whether it's a mobile job, give you a rough price range, and set a time to come out.
We come to the car
We show up at your driveway, workplace, or roadside with the tools and parts. We diagnose on site and give you a firm price before any work starts.
We fix it and you pay when it's done
Most repairs finish in one visit. You pay when the car is running — cash, card, or tap-to-pay. No deposit over the phone, no surprise charges.
How payment works
We take cash, card, and the common tap-to-pay on your phone. You pay when the job is done and the car is running — not before. You see the price before we start, and if anything changes once we're into the work, we stop and tell you before going further. No deposits over the phone, no holding your keys hostage, no charges that appear after the fact.
Rather just call? Do it now.
We're available 24 hours. If the car won't start, the brakes are grinding, or you're stuck on the shoulder, call and we'll head your way.
